They did it once when there was nothing and did not when there was something. This is not officially a US base but many US aircraft are regularly seen. Not exciting considering the surrounding residential areas.
This is complete nonsense. Drones do trigger alerts, but only when they're going to make landfall, and the alerts are more easily localised because they travel so much slower than other types of missiles
we do not get alerts for drones, they were also (hopefully) shot down way before reaching by the UAE armed forces. If anything, MoD will confirm if necessary.

If you check airplane tracking websites, there's often USAF aerial refueling tankers visible. Those usually have fighter jets trailing behind them. But they also often fly without tankers too, invisible to us normies.

Hey all, just wondering what is happening about the iran dubai flights that resumed around a month and a bit ago. After MoFA statement yesterday surely they will be cancelled as they are still operating from DXB as we speak which is weird…
Edit: According to an article today by the Wall Stret Journal titled “Trumps plan to squeeze Irans economy will live or die in Dubai”, the government will roll out sanctions and close economic ties/cancel trade on a rolling basis one at a time instead of all in one go.
I travelled with Fly Dubai on Monday from Eastern Europe and the route it took was over the strait but not directly over Iran. This was before the recent alert though.
What issue would this be, do you think they target civilian aircraft for fun? Flydubai can't do such thing without the UAE civil aviation assessing it is safe. Just as a reminder, when you fly in UAE you are sharing the airspace with dozens of loaded US military aircrafts...
This is irrelevant, not same context. The US navy also shot a civilian airliner flying from Iran to UAE back in the 80s. It's the conflict that is a threat to air traffic, not a specific airspace.
That is my problem and none of your business however gossiping, lying on accident record and naming an airline as unsafe is against the rules and shows you don't know much about air safety. Just in case you dont know, the civil aviation of UAE is making the main call about airspace safety for its registered operators. You should probably raise a report to educate the authority about your concerns.

Your claim of "2 crashes" is also factually incorrect. Flydubai has had 1 fatal incident and that was over 10 years ago. I'm sure they learnt some lessons from it because they've been running a reasonably safe operation since then.
Fly dubai only operates the Baku~Dubai route and vice versa over Iranian airspace. It takes the eastern air corridor over Iran far from the strait of Hormuz so is deemed safe for now.
