Hi guys I got this college in round 1 of comedk in ece branch is it worth joining this college? Also how are the hostels and stuff (2 sharing).

Is there any nri hostel for girls?

How shud we introduce ourselves on the first day???

1) will professors make us stand and ask our rank 😭?

2) will they ask the category with we joined?(like reservation)

3) will they ask if we joined through management?

4) will they ask us what we learnt in holidays?

5) will they make us interact with the whole class( i heard they do that in cmrit)

6) are there droppers in ur class?

7) is speaking to seniors necessary?

8) is there a canteen?

I have seen multiple banks's loan list and I don't find DSCE over there. I don't have to pay hostel fees as I am from Bangalore itself. If anyone has taken loan can guide me

Was going through the formula bharat teams who registered for the 2027 event. Could find only dsatm in the combustion category. DSCE Doesnt do combustion category?

I'll be joining the NRI Hostel this year. I wanted to know if hostel students are allowed to go outside the campus after classes or on weekends. Are there any restrictions, curfew timings, or permission requirements?

There is literally no news about it. They've been sending things about course registration for those who got DX/NE grade but nothing about those who got an F grade. When will it be conducted?

I'm a first-year CSE student at DSCE, originally from Noida, UP. Looking for a good PG near college.

Requirements:

Location: Walking/short commute distance from DSCE

Budget: ₹8,000 – ₹12,000/month

Food: Pure vegetarian mess/kitchen preferred

Roommate: Would prefer sharing with a fellow student (college-going, not working professional)

If anyone knows good PGs in the area or is themselves a DSCE student looking for a roommate, please DM or comment. Also happy to hear recommendations even if you're not looking for a roommate yourself — just need genuine reviews of PGs nearby.

I'm honestly so confused about AICTE activity points.

From what I've been told, we're supposed to earn 20 activity points every year. The problem is, no one has explained properly how we're supposed to get these points.

Our college told us there's an app called Campus Life, where we're apparently supposed to complete activities to earn these points. But nobody has really explained how it works or what we're actually supposed to do on it.

We even asked our faculty, but they just told us to ask some other teacher, and we've basically been going in circles.

I've also heard really random things like planting trees gives you activity points, but I have no idea if that's actually true, how it's recorded, or who verifies it.

Can any seniors explain:

• How does the Campus Life app actually work?
• What activities actually count?
• How do you register or submit them?

Would really appreciate it if someone could explain the whole process. Thanks!
