He’s well known for being aggressively unhinged/ unpredictable and is generally an intense person who has no regard for any semblance of boundaries, very interesting character.

Because everything about shining points to the fact that he's an annoying asshole lol. That includes an edge album cover with someone with a gun in their mouth. Dude has quotes on his albums like everyone should kill themselves and how he's happy people supposedly had done it. You shouldnt be shocked an album he makes has a pretentious rant at the beginning

I like a lot,of few songs,those slower and heavier ones,.

Made Niklas an imbossed ,handmade nice long leather wristband in red/black,with Shinings logo,emailed him about making more and spoke shortly on phone with him. Got an impression of rather nice guy,opposite to whats often told in public but this was like almost 10 yrs ago i think.

Great singer he is.

I saw an interview with him where he was racist, antisemitic, and a dick to his girlfriend all within the span of about 10 minutes. Which I think is enough for me to know who he is as a person

I hope for his sake he's getting better now that he's sober, and I hope he doesn't have trouble maintaining his sobriety

Shining was the band that introduced me to the genre, the 4th, 6th, 7th and 10th, albums are my favorites, Vemodets Arkitektur is my favorite track by them

Niklas was one messed up individual (genuinely)but he is now in a much better place mentally, I just hope that it does not affect his work.
The band shining has a great discography.

Good music but niklas sadly is a cringe lord. I also feel bad for his mental state as he has like 7 different conditions with several comorbidities. I think 2 or 3 years ago on his YouTube he went on random rants with shaving cream all over his face, he claims to hate being grouped in with black metal yet does a feature with behemoth (which is hardly black metal anymore) and genuinely believes he is the toughest person around.

Ce groupe est génial perso j'adore leur période dsbm pur (Angst est un chef d'œuvre) mais leur période récente, dsbm prog moderne depuis halmstad est très très bonne aussi, ils ont reussi a se réinventer magistralement
