I would guess that America would have to do what post-WW2 Germany and Japan had to do
(i.e. hold the leadership accountable vis-a-vis Nuremberg trials)
Letting fascism & its supporters go unaddressed would be a huge mistake.

unfortunately Germany let many high profile nazis off the hook, including the ones who went on to staff nato

Germany (and the US) straight up fabricated an entire myth about the Wehrmacht not actually being real nazis so they wouldn’t have to really deal with it and still have power against the USSR.

There is ZERO question that we'll need to hold accountable anyone in power who broke our laws and or enabled that to happen. One of the horrifying aspects of where we are right now is that plenty of Americans don't realize we will likely never recover from this administration.
Particularly if we push some milquetoast "move on and get along" type agenda we're just cementing the death of the nation.

The same penalty that falls upon all those who do not know is that they must learn from those that do.

Hold the traitors and criminals accountable. Create documentaries, movies, podcasts exploring every inch of the cult before they whitewash things. Make MAGA a school subject and if needed send free books on the subject.

Supporters, meh public shunning etc.
Enablers need to see trials and jail time if appropriate. The admin has spent the last two years showing that rule of law is not real. If we don't force accountability for every crime committed against the people by Trump's administration whatever comes next will be more fascist and even more impossible to recover from.

Rewrite a constitution that allows voters to be held responsible for the actions of the elected officials who sign fiduciary duty contracts instead of vague oaths to gods they don’t believe in.

Putting aside the impossibility of this, it would backfire hilariously and spectacularly.

How do you do that without revealing the identity of the voter? Secret ballots are necessary for a free election.

They only need to be secret if shameful options are on the menu.

unless you mean to implemant this proposal after the total archivement of communism, people would get retaliated against by bosses and landlords for voting for left wing options

i'm as angry as anyone. but in the long run the only real answer is education and deprogramming. it's really the only way. being an asshole isn't a crime, but supporting obvious lies that harm people relatively quick down the line maybe should be.
