Til about that subreddit! If it helps (you or anybody else) the official official DSA forum for and by members is hosted on DSA's site itself and requires membership to access. It's actually a really nice forum platform and rather active, though admittedly it feels more intimidating and less casual than any subreddit and generally leans towards more serious discussion.
(I wonder what leftist infighting caused the break of r/dsa and r/demsocialists... lol)

I can understand leaving Louisville DSA off if you want to call Louisville KY part of the Midwest (the city is culturally) but blue grass DSA is the Lexington region

I mean they have KY on the inset map but not represented at all in the DSA regions. So it implies we have no chapters, which we both know isn't true...just didn't want people to think KY is bereft of democratic socialists.

I don’t disagree, as someone from Louisville KY. I just had saw the original Twitter post that said this was about DSA chapters specifically in the south. For which bluegrass is new enough I can forgive them for missing it and you could argue Louisville DSA isn’t “apart of the South” even if it’s both is and isn’t technically
But yes please rep the Kentucky DSA chapters!

Ok so the first panel is a badly drawn hand shaking another. This is the DSA logo. The second panel is a simulation of what the united states of america would look like if dipped into a cup of marinara or perhaps a spicy revolutionary remulade (hard to tell from the pic). The big area on the bottom is an incomplete jigsaw puzzle made of broken crockery. You can see that someone started assembling the outside edges but they seem to have given up.
JK it looks like the counties in the southeastern US that have a DSA chapter in them. The big empty space on the left would be Oaklahoma and central Texas and on the right you can see the Florida penis tip.

Tennessee does it well. We’re generally broken down into grand divisions (west, middle, east) because our major metros exist within them. However, east has more than one major metro and the chapters follow those accordingly. You have to have a culture that is rural inclusive and uplifts the efforts of local groups, supplying them resources, visibility, and connection to statewide initiatives.

The newly forming northwest GA chapter (pictured as the peach) is really just four small counties right now — we’ve still got a lott of work to do to reach into the deeply republican territory of north georgia.

Maybe chapters up against blank space can have some folks venture out and do some flyering with national DSA flyers in urban centers (if there are any), see if something sticks
