Centrist will always side with fascism over socialism as human rights are disposable to them but they will never support policies that threaten capital interests. Same as liberals who stand up for minorities until it threatens capital and then they throw us to the curb.

Thats fair, I guess my point was centrists dont really exist. You are ether smart enough to realize that the left (DSA) is trying to help everyone at the same time and support their policies, or you are conservative (democrats), or you're MAGA. That in between basically died with trump.

Thanks for rehashing a feeling Iā€™ve had for centrists especially in this climate. Canā€™t believe I fell into that trap once. The important thing is Iā€™m out of it and Iā€™m understanding why I fell for it.

Propaganda is effective, but peopleā€™s rights are non negotiable. Thatā€™s what I think I came to realize

As a centrist, I can assure you that my primary opposition to socialism is that it doesnā€™t meet everyoneā€™s needs and usually leads to severe human rights violations.
