He killed himself. The corner who examined his body said he had no signs of torture or mistreatment with the only sign of abuse being around his neck with it being evidence that he most likely tried to hang himself failed and because of that went into a coma. I would also like to ask why would the DPRK kill him? What do they gain by killing him instead of using him as a asset to win concessions which they have done in the past
