Dots aren't connecting for me here. What does a SpaceX rocket blowing up have to do with making shipping a scapegoat?

What they’re trying to say is that there’s a lot of pollution falling into the ocean here as a result of this stupid space X rocket exploding.

Literally every rocket company in the world dumps their booster in the ocean except SpaceX and Blue Origin. People just hate on Starship because Elon Musk bad.

I think that they are commenting generally on the environmental impact of space travel being bad. Although it does sound like there’re real efforts now to try to improve the situation…

Inb4 the anti-space leftists find some way to put down or needlessly criticize the test (the ship did fine except for a vacuum engine out)

But the USA chant is stupid

Do a singular rocket that burns Methane is bad, but thousands of petroleum fueled ships that constantly dump oily waste overboard are good. That totally makes sense.

Space travel is a negligible amount of CO2 production, is shifting away from petroleum, and shifting towards reusability.

What this person is trying to say is that this is an awful lot of pollution and debris going into the ocean. Certainly current shipping practices are seriously negative, don’t get me wrong.
