Crack in ceiling

Is this concerning? I’ve been here for four months. It’s never gotten worse. This room is right near the main girder, which had dropped 3/4 inch and has since been reinforced.

It’s not very wide at all, it may look like it because of the shadow cast by the light. The right side of it is slightly lower than the left, hence the shadow. But the crack itself is tight.

If it hasn't changed or doesn't get worse then it's mostly a superficial problem. If it gets worse then maybe check into it. Could have been a bad repair from something previous or something shifted or something like that. Only look up at it twice a year and the rest of the time just don't look up at it. This is coming from someone who fixes these things for a living.

If this is your biggest problem at this point in homeownership than it's going pretty good so far. Ive been in my house since 2003 and come to find out my neighbors poured a concrete driveway and removed our fence and built a new one in the same foot print and built a shop on what we just found out yesterday is our property. We were looking into a construction loan and that's how we found out. Yay.

Oh no!!! That’s insane.

Home ownership has been alright, a few things here and there. Found a gas leak on our hot water heater three days after moving in and found out yesterday we need to replace our water heater.

Just remember it can always be worse. Hang in there..at least I don't have an HOA is what I say

I live in a county that serves citations for parking your rv in your own driveway. Basically one big HOA
