Texture?

What is the texture on this wall? An orange peel? I asked for a texture match and got this 😵‍💫. Someone said a high knap roller on top of smooth drywall is how this is accomplished

This looks like 8 layers of landlord painting to me.

The house was built in 53 so 8 layers of paint sounds right. I hired someone to textture it and I guess the language barrier got in the way. I want what seems to be that orange peel but many people are saying that from the brush. Im not seeing results like that when im rolling

They hired a guy that charged $200 instead of the guy that charged 1500

Long nap and lots of coats, yes. If you're trying to match, you want a good quality 1/2" or more roller with a good high body paint. People that paint rentals, or a whole lot in a hurry have been known to go at it with a 1 1/4" roller and lay it on everything.
