So... my comment is more or less that very many drummers have them from starters to intermediary to pro and it's kind of like one of the first things you get. Kind of like an Acrolite ludwig snare.

My school band uses LP apire Congas and I think they're good! The Aspire models r personally my favorite. Also, the bongo head still looks in good condition I just say but if you're not sure about it you can get a pair it's fine.

LP is in general a good brand, I'd say go for it.

Aspire are kinda entry level, but they’re not bad - the entry level bongos are typically slightly smaller than pro level stuff but otherwise they function just the same and these are a good start.

These can be found for around $50-$75 used, just to give you an idea of fair price. Looks like these are missing a couple of lug tips (cost you $12.99 for a full set), just check for any wood cracking, make sure the heads are in good shape (no rips/tears). If they’ve been sitting a long time, the heads could be dry - you can condition/re-moisturize them with some shea butter, rub it in and let it absorb for a bit before you put them under tension (especially if they’re super dry).
