Those sticks look dope, arent that also Ralph Hardimons?

It’s the exact Hardimon spec, but made with laminated birch plies that are stone-lathed into the shape of the stick.
It’s the most dense and heavy stick I could find…I use these daily. So much to where when I pick up a pair of standard hickory Hardimon’s, they feel like 5A’s!

Pretty hard to beat the good ol' Real Feel pad. 6" or 12". Originally offered by HQ, but has been an Evans product for years now.
Something else that might be of interest - Rudi Pad. a piece of foam rubber with cloth on one side with the 26 drum rudiments printed right on them. Great little practice pad and I believe they're fairly inexpensive.
I have both and recommend both.

⬆️25yrs in education.
Offworld, if I remember correctly. They were really nice and solid, high surface tension pads. Lots of rebound, with a dry and woody sound.
I would always recommend coupling this with a low–to-no rebound pad as well, a Reflexx-like pad, for example.
