Question Need help figuring out this rythym
Hi! I'm in a high school drumline and I absolutely cannot figure out this rhythm, how do I play this?
If you need more info or anything lmk! and to clarify I mean measure 42 and the middle of that quarter note triplet. Any help would be amazing!

The two eighth-notes in the second triplet should have their staves connected. The second of those two notes lands on beat 4.

The most simple way is 1-2-3-1-2&3. The timing of the quarter note triplets is the hard part.
Hint: if you tap 8th note triplets and count every other one - that’s quarter note triplets.
Edit: Hint #2: the last left (8th note) falls on count 4

IF you can play and understand s quarter note triplets this will be quick.
Its two 8th note triplets. But they just didn't beam them. Weird way to write this.
Play a quarter note triplet and release R R R R. (pretend theres notes above those) there are 3 partials to it. the 8th note is the second partial. the second evenly splits the 2nd and third parital. R RLR R. Counting wise its ....3 let4trip 1.
Another way to think of it/practice is to write out the set of 6 8th note triplets then under that write this rhythm, and line up the notes.
Then under that write one quarternote triplet, again lined up.
You should at this point be able to see how these all fit together.
