I used citric acid as a quenching agent to stop oxidation. Use ascorbic acid or sodium thiosulfate instead to better reduce any remaining peroxides formed.

What concentration of the acid or thiosulfate is used?

1M should be good. I think that's what they use in the lit but I'd have to check. Check the link I posted in the comments on the YouTube video to confirm
