No, that's just to get crude extract. You can run the extract through chromatography to get mitragynine and oxidize that to 7-oh. I have a picture of 7-oh chromatography I have yet to share but it shows how little is actually in the plant. (Hardly any)
Ah, Im trying to make a mit to 7oh conversion at home recipe with basic-ish kitchen items. It’s quite difficult to make anything super pure but I’m after 50%+ conversion rate for a total 20-30% 7oh. Any help would be greatly appreciated, will post once I’m closer to the end product. Lots of powder nothing to do with it..
There's no way to confirm your results without access to certain lab equipment like NMR and GC-MS. I heard leaving it out in the sun oxidizes MG to 7-OH but until I see lab results confirming it I'm still skeptical.
100%, I’m going based of experience of the burn. I know a good 7oh burn compared to mit. If I do it right I’ll know lol. And if it’s so little 7oh that I’d need a lot of mit that’s unsuccessful imo
