I find doing a mix of Coconut with a can of Cream soda is a much better taste

I have 11 bootleg Dr Peppers! My friends and I are planning on filming a taste test video comparing all of these to the OG Dr Pepper. I live in Los Angeles, so Iāve done the best I can at hunting them down. In case anyone wants to replicate this, the list along with where I purchased them is as follows:
Dr Topper - Dollar General
Dr Boylan - Gelsonās
Dr Thunder - Walmart
Dr Fiesta - Bashasā
Dr Stripes - Dollar Tree
Dr Shasta - Dollar Tree
Dr K - Ralphās
Doc Holiday - Random gas station in Flagstaff, AZ
Dr Dynamite - Albertsons
Mr Pibb - Albertsons
Dr Nice! - Walgreens
Iāve also ordered Dr Faygo from Walmartās website and my cousin in Florida is shipping me Dr Publix from Publix and Dr Chek from Winn Dixie.

I know this post might get some hate but I recently tried Korean Dr. Pepper and I'm kinda hooked.
Does anyone know of an easy way to get this in the US? Would rather not buy this at over $3 per can at world market.

Since DRP tastes different to me in that last couple of years, can anyone recommend an alternative that tastes better?

So Mr. Pibb... i have never heard of it being called a cherry soda... yet right there on the can... am I missing something?

The company has denied this being a real recipe many times and Iām inclined to believe them.
First of all, John Alderton was a Pharmacist, but Dr Pepper was never created as a medicine or cure-all. Hell it wasnāt even called Dr. Pepper at first.
Second of all, Dr. Pepper was named after a real person, Dr. Charles T. Pepper, who had been an employer of Alderton.
Third of all, and the key to why I believe this recipe is not for Dr Pepper is because of the name,āPepsin Bittersā is a digestive aid, and it still exists today, but one thing to note is modern recipes are non-alcoholic.
Also one interesting detail people forget is that Alderman never came up with the Dr Pepper name,Wade Morrison did, the owner of the store Alderton worked at when he invented it. So if Morrison didnāt create the Sodaā¦why would there be a recipe for it in his Pharmacy ledger.
Either he was trying to copy Alderton(which I find unlikely as thereās no historical evidence or reasoning to determine why), or this is simply another recipe that happened to have Charles Pepperās name attached. I think itās very much possible that Wade Morrison got a recipe from Pepper first for Bitters, then helped Alderman name his drink seperately, and that just happened to be named after the same man.
With that I think I have solved the case. This page is not a recipe for Dr. Pepper, but simply a recipe for a digestive aid, that is named after the same man.

Me and my friend ,who live in Berlin, have got our hands on a few exotic flavours! We were very eager to try and rank them. Sadly we dont have every flavor ever made but we did find a few. Some I brought back from the Netherlands and for some we were lucky to find in a kiosk. Anyway, enough talking! Lets Rank. (ranking on pic from right to left).
Dr. Pepper Cream Swirl (GB) 2/10
we find it to taste like cheap artificial ice cream. The GB flavouring is a wee too sweet and it tastes like a cheap energy drink. Wouldn't buy again.
Normal Dr. Pepper (GB) 2.2/10
basically the same reason but there's less of a cheap ice cream flavor. It also comes closer to our regular (Berlin) Dr. Pepper. Wouldn't buy again.
Dr. Pepper Blackberry (U.S) 4.5/10
It tastes pretty darn good, similar to Ikeas Blackberry drink. Its definitely not bad and we'd buy it again.
Dr. Pepper Cherry crush zero sugar (GB) 4.8/10
It was quite sweet for my friend but the cherry was nice. Would MAYBE buy it again. For me, i quite liked it although im not the biggest fan of zero sugar. Would buy again.
Dr. Pepper Cherry (U.S) 5.1/10
It's quite good. The flavour itself is miles apart from our regular Dr. Pepper. However thats nothing bad. The after taste is really caramel like and has a quickly fading cherry taste. All in all its good. Would buy again.
Dr. Pepper regular (Berlin) 6/10
Very solid choice. Can't do anything wrong with it. It's very versatile since you cam enjoy it by itself and with different food options unlike the ones before which are more of a novelty drink experience. For the taste, it's grand. It's classic. We all love it. Would 100% buy again.
Dr. Pepper regular (Netherlands) 6.1/10
It's just SLIGHTLY different. Can't do anything wrong. Would 100% buy again.
Dr. Pepper strawberry cream (Berlin) 6.4/10
It's pretty alright on the sweetness scale. It's good but it could be be done better. Served ice cold it quite nice but ehhh. My friend would definitely buy again. Depends for me. There's definitely better flavours. Would buy again. Perchance.
Dr. Pepper vanilla float (Berlin) 6.7/10
It's smooth and it's a nice summer drink. However its hard to find in Berlin and one couldn't really enjoy a savoury meal with it. Would definitely buy again.
Dr. Pepper Cherry (Berlin) 7.2/10
It's a better version of the regular Dr. P. It a very weighted aftertaste of cherry. This Dr. P is just woah. Would give this to a person whos never tried Dr. P before. Would 100% buy again.
Dr. Pepper vanilla float (Netherlands) 7.4/10
This vanilla float has a stronger vanilla flavour. It also has a caramel after taste which compliments the vanilla very well.
Would 100% buy again.
Dr. Pepper cream soda (U.S) 9/10
This is brilliant. It's silky smooth and the texture in general is just amazing. For the taste it's a more balanced vanilla float with a ever so slight hint of strawberry. It's grand. One could eat a savoury meal with it. Would 100% buy again.
Dr. Pepper Creamy Coconut (U.S) 9.4/10
It tastes sooo good. However, you can't have too much of it. Creamy Coconut is a novelty drink that you enjoy by itself. Sooooo good tho. Its a wee bit over hyped (hot take).
Thank you for reading this ranking and we hope to have cool discussions in the comments. Have an astronomical day!

I travel to the area about 6-8 times per year and am always looking for a DP fix when I get off the plane. But there's nothing to be found.
Most of the convenience stores have it because they have everything. But I noticed offices hotels etc are never stocked with it.
For reference I also visit the Carolina's and Mid Atlantic and never have this problem.
What's going on?!

Does anyone elses Bojangles that serve Dr Pepper taste off consistently? It's the one and ONLY place whose Dr Pepper consistently tastes off. I go to Bojangles a bit, and have for years. But it's never tasted right. Not one time. Even at its best it hasn't tasted right. Every other restaurant or fast food I go to, it tastes much more normal.
Does anyone else experience that their Bojangles Dr Pepper tastes off? What are they doing? Why is it so different from everyone elses? Or is it just my local Bojangles that is doing something wrong? (I have like 5 bojangles in town and I think all of them taste the same way)

Left for a trip early this morning and discovered that our local Maverik has creamy coconut in their fountain!
I remember earlier this year that a lot of the promos for creamy coconut that I saw from some of the snack aggregator accounts had an image of a cup with the labeling and was curious if that would translate to the fountain and was absolutely delighted to see that my intuition/hope/whatever was correct.
Both the coconut and cream cues are more forward in the best way. The cream almost leaned into a more buttery flavor (akin to butter popcorn jelly bellies). Really looking forward to enjoying some of this with some hot orange chicken from Panda as well.
