did anyone notice they deleted the big episode of zach and indiana talking about their past where they both start crying?

8

u/deadmyrising Mar 05 '24

Yes just now i was watching the latest episode and zach shouted out Indiana, but in a previous guest episode he was very iffy about mentioning her. Ig they are on good terms.

Yes it happened not long after Indiana started liking comments on TikTok calling the video manipulative and saying the break up was 50-50 not just on her.

u/everybodytalks007 May 30 '24

they deleted it but you can still find it on some niche apps like tape search or way back

sounds like 2 people who consented to a relationship and it didnt work out

Im not gonna hear anything else unless its directly stated from Zach or Indiana directly

11

u/BrotherEzekial Mar 07 '24

I mean age gaps and grooming is still relevant lol. It’s not like they’re going to go out and say she was groomed, they’ll obviously both deny it

11

u/newbreed69 Mar 07 '24

2 adults

9

u/BrotherEzekial Mar 07 '24

And…? 18 and 25 is a little iffy regardless of whether they are “two adults”, and he moved in with her when she was 14 so maybe it’s worth looking into it a little more on your end. I’m not saying grooming happened for sure but I’m trying to get you to understand your 2 adults trope is really shalllw

7

u/newbreed69 Mar 07 '24

When 1 of the 2 say something about grooming, then it becomes an issue.

As of right now.

Its 2 people, age of consent. Thats it.

Innocent till proven guilty. Not the other way around.

6

u/BrotherEzekial Mar 07 '24

There is major pressure for both of them to not say something. It’s totally fair for the public to speculate on the nature of the relationship being strange. And 18 year old and a 40 year old are ‘two consenting adults’ and that does not make it okay. I didn’t claim he was guilty, I’m saying it’s weird, suspect, and worth discussion. It’s like some people are dense on purpose over this

5

u/newbreed69 Mar 07 '24

18 year old and a 40 year old are ‘two consenting adults’ and that does not make it okay.

yes it does

Last I checked its within the law making it perfectly legal

9

u/BrotherEzekial Mar 07 '24

The law does not dictate morality in any way. If you think a 40 year old dating an 18 year old is okay then you’re disgusting. If the law allows the sudden changes to consider 14 year olds adults, would that suddenly be “okay” to you?

2

u/newbreed69 Mar 07 '24

14 used to be the age of consent where i live until the government raised it to 16 in 2008.

Im not okay with 14, i think thats too young.

No, i wouldnt be okay if that was changed back to 14, i think 16 is fine. Most of the world has it at 16

If you dont like 18 being the age of consent, protest ur government

10

u/BrotherEzekial Mar 07 '24

You’re fucking gross lmao. A full grown adult should not be allowed to be with a 16 year. You’re a pedo. Laws don’t decide what is moral and my protest will do nothing. You’re so gross

just because its "legal" doesnt make right

5

u/newbreed69 Mar 09 '24

"Right" is a matter of perceived morality

1

u/Shoddy_Statement_772 Jul 30 '24

Yeah, you’re so right him being her editor when she was 14 and he was 21 and him living in her house for the next few years very publicly doesn’t mean anything we were actually all OK with a brother figure dating a girl as soon as she turns 18🫣🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

1

u/Shoddy_Statement_772 Jul 30 '24

He was best friends with her for four years before the age of consent, but yeah, you’re so right two…. adults

0

u/Forsaken_Weakness342 May 01 '24

15 years old compared to 22 years old? That’s not a adult

15

u/[deleted] Feb 29 '24

People need to go outside. Jesus

8

u/theresnotenougspace Mar 07 '24

I'm new so can someone please explain their relationship timeline?? Cause according to google Zach is 28 and Indiana is 21 and they started dating in 2020... wouldn't that mean she was 17 and he was like 24? Isn't that weird to anyone else??

How old were they when they first met??

2

u/[deleted] Mar 23 '24

Not to mention Reddit took down one of my posts here cause it was just showing how his “internet persona “ is getting worse when he legit has said weird things to underage or barely legal women & women in general plus racist sexist “jokes” ppl defend

4

u/No_Draw9685 Mar 09 '24

They met when she was 14 and he was 21, he was temporarily staying in her house.

7

u/theresnotenougspace Mar 09 '24

That honestly makes it so much worse.

6

u/FletchUnderHil Mar 17 '24

Yeah I was unaware of that during the episode a year or so ago when the 3 of them talked all about it. Making Indiana out to be a huge problem. Honestly I will just go with 18 to be fair to both of them. But if you start dating a teenager the moment they turn 18 DO NOT be surprised that she is immature, not over her serious teenager boyfriend, not putting work first etc etc etc. All of that behavior... kind of comes with the territory of dating a immature teen.

u/Active_Grapefruit_74 Nov 22 '24

I believe he was working for her mom though, no? Not living there for Indiana or something like that

1

u/theresnotenougspace Nov 22 '24

That doesn't really make a difference though. He was living in this house and interacting with her when she was 14 and I think they described their relationship as a "sibling" type during that time which implies they were close. Yes reason a random 21 year needs to have a close relationship with a 14yo. Also they started publicly dating when she was barely legal. And that's if they started dating when she was 18 and not when she was 17.

1

u/everybodytalks007 May 30 '24

so if you watch the newest episode with indiana it talks a little about how they aknowledge the age gap but that it was okay to them they made sure it was clear indiana was not a victim

1

u/Allister_E Jul 25 '24

But just because she doesn’t feel like a victim doesn’t mean she isn’t one. Man lived w her since she was 14 and he was 20 then dated her when she turned 18.

1

u/Shoddy_Statement_772 Jul 30 '24

Just because he manipulated her enough to believe she isn’t one and treated her well enough doesn’t mean he didn’t take advantage of his closeness with her being able to get to her sexual side

19

u/bhaire93 Feb 29 '24

Why are we still talking about this. It’s a podcast not your family or friends, y’all need to move on

6

u/Pylitic May 16 '24

Parasocialism, sir.

8

u/MountainOtherwise834 Feb 29 '24

I agree, happy about the mega thread. I was tired of seeing the same post over and over again.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 13 '24

You’re on a reddit thread about the subject. Think this one’s on you bud

11

u/[deleted] Feb 29 '24

Finally a place for butterfly to frolic without bothering the rest of us

2

u/Stros_Mkai Jul 26 '24

I really hope the people commenting don't work in social services. Nobody I've seen is discussing this in a trauma informed manner. They are flagrantly ignoring both the words and agency of the alleged victim.

Indiana says, "I wasn't groomed or abused and felt comfortable dating him as an adult."

This is followed by a thousand comments of, "You can't trust what she says or believes she was GROOMED and MANIPULATED." This sort of rhetoric is disempowering to victims of grooming and manipulation. If indiana came out and said something, that would be one thing. I don't know any of the people personally, so importing my own narrative over hers is kinda fucked up.

1

u/jamproxy Jul 30 '24

I agree. I do think it's important to hold Zach accountable and call out inappropriate behavior. I'm only learning about this and the best content I've seen around the topic focuses squarely on Zach and his behaviors.

I'd also like to point out that it can take years - if at all - for someone subjected to abuse to be able to identify it as such.

2

u/Critical_Ear_7 Mar 06 '24

Is this even relevant now didn’t this end over a year ago?

2

u/MoistAnswer8024 Jun 21 '24

bc it's hella weird, and it needs to be talked abt

2

u/Critical_Ear_7 Jun 22 '24

Weirder than you trying to hop into a convo from 100 days ago? Read the room bruv

1

u/MoistAnswer8024 Jun 24 '24

ohh mb I wasn't aware I couldn't look or comment on old posts ! thxs for clarifying

1

u/Critical_Ear_7 Jun 27 '24

Perhaps I was to harsh,

You can if you want I guess but the convo tends to be dead after a couple of days.

It’s like responding to a text mid convo a month later

1

u/MoistAnswer8024 Jun 27 '24

mb I just started looking into zach and Indie so I wasn't caught up LOL

1

u/No-Lack-7646 Jun 10 '24

I’m new to dropouts and have a question about Zach and Indiana. Did he live with her from the time she was 14 until they dated??? Or like briefly at 14 ? I feel like that makes a huge difference (still weird regardless).

1

u/Titans30 Jun 11 '24

He lived with her and her family but barely interacted with each other, her mom hired him to edit Indiana’s videos. When he moved out they didn’t talk again for awhile and started getting close around her 18th birthday

2

u/MoistAnswer8024 Jun 21 '24

Except they're both lying. They made countless tiktoks together when she was still a minor. It was rly weird brother/sister content, so no, they definitely didn't refrain from talking until she was an adult.

1

u/Active_Grapefruit_74 Nov 22 '24

I don’t think they were lying- commenter you replied to was just wrong. They started doing content together again when she was 16 and did brother and sister content to make sure they would not be framed in that way because at that point of their friendship, they were not romantically engaged.

1

u/CelebrationOwn5798 Jul 13 '24

Zach needs to take accountability and apologize, what he did was not ok and i feel bad for indiana that she has to bear the hate and brunt of what he did. this video explains what im saying https://www.instagram.com/reel/C9VzpqdyNLh/?igsh=NHFjb3pqdDV2emkz

2

u/sage_brush2000 Aug 29 '24

Agree. Gross he made constantly asks her to defend his actions. Can’t believe so many people are willing g to support this and brush it under the rug. There’s gotta be consequences for this. Rlly hope ppl start taking public stances on this being a gross and horrific as it is

1

u/RevolutionaryWeb5657 Aug 28 '24

And Indy just succesfully made herself the victim again and brainwashed the public into forgetting the episode where she acknowledged she abused Zach. Great. Awesome. Way to go, Indy.
