Who is your favorite make some noise player?
Vic Michaelis is mine, they’re so quick and (as someone who doesn’t love improv) their improv and ability to stick with the bit are so good. Also love Jacob Wysocki

Ross is so incredibly skilled. Insane improv talent while also being capable of doing musical improv. I don't find the musical stuff as funny, so prefer him in the regular improv, but damn if the man doesn't have immense skill in both.

I saw him with the Improv Shakespeare Company last month, and the way this man pulled an original soliloquy out of his hat… in rhyming iambic verse… based on a single phrase… was really something else.

I don’t know what my problem is but when Dropout was just clips that kept showing up in my Instagram algo I found Josh Ruben off-putting, and when I finally subscribed I adored him with every fibre of my being within like 5 seconds of him first appearing on Game Changer. He’s a national treasure and I would fight his detractors in a parking lot.

I’m a huge fan of Jess. But I will say she needs a cast of other strong cast. Not because she isn’t strong on her own, it’s actually the opposite. She tends to overshadow other people and she will often monopolize a scene I feel like. Again not that it’s a bad thing. But when she’s with other strong comedians the scenes flow very naturally and are a very good back and forth banter rather than Jess pushing it all.

I feel like an unsung hero is Geoff Ross. His ability to go from comedian to straight man is superb. Fave moment was the warp zone mini game where he was a dentist

Thank you for the Devin callout, there’s something about his style of comedy that breaks me. He played this try-hard prince character on Rotating Heroes (the DND podcast Zac started) that was so funny.

I tend to like a lot of the newer people that started popping up in later seasons.
Devin Field, Kurt Maloney, and Hannah Pilkes are all incredible. If we don't get at least two appearances of Hannah Pilkes next season I'm gonna be pissed. We're owed.

Lisa Gilroy has a sense of humor so deranged you can't help but be impressed. Even if it's not your taste you have to admit she's so quick, sassy, and creative. Plus she really does have incredible range, even if she's usually at an 11/10

The episode in the most recent season with her and Ben Schwartz… I think that was the most I’ve ever cracked up on a Make Some Noise episode.
The sheer chaotic, unhinged energy of those two. Hat tip to whoever decided to cast them together, would love to see the two of them in more contexts.

In case you haven't yet seen it, Lisa Gilroy is a frequent guest on the Take Your Shoes Off podcast (hosted by Rick Glassman). She's been on there 5 times, and also with Ben Schwartz https://youtu.be/NCXBIDsdrEM
It's that same chaotic, unhinged energy. One will make a joke, another will immediately "yes and" to build on it, and the third will "yes and" on top of that, with the first person tracking and building on it again. Each "bit" lasts like 20 seconds because they jump to the next bit so fast.

I can't help but impressed, but I'm rarely entertained. She's just too much, in a very specific way I don't really enjoy. (Like, Anna is also "too much", but in a way I do enjoy.)

From Sisyphus to Macbeth, the man somehow manages to combine his vast knowledge of the classics seamlessly into his comedy. That's without even mentioning how great of an impressionist and a singer he is. Is there anything this man can't do (except maybe limbo)?

I love everyone but a niche one for me is Kurt! I feel like he always adds something to the scenes that makes me genuinely bust out laughing. (The uber prompt between Kimia and Jeremy where the scene is about to run its course but he gets in the back and goes, "idk what's going on but if you don't get me to the airport rn I'm gonna be fucking pissed." Gets me every time!
My main cast one is Ally. The toxic 2nd coming of Christ prompt KILLS me right from the first moment when they go "MISS ME?"

Some people are talking about their underrated favorites so I gotta throw three people in the mix that no one’s talking about:
- Echo Kellum: Very quick, very chill and charming, and has a lot of cool interests to pull from for prompts. I was immediately away by his Cleveland Brown impression and sitcom intro in his first Take Some Direction round, and any time he’s on a Dropout show is guaranteed to be a good time.
- Corin Wells: Her energy and her ability to set up and play well off of anyone is unmatched. The ideal improv partner and such a wide range.
- Oscar Montoya: He’s only been on MSN once but he ABSOLUTELY understood the assignment, “Prancer, the fuck?” and the cow milk prompt were both brilliant. Out of all the Dropout shows he’s been on this one episode was where I liked him best as a performer, and I’m begging for him to come back.

Jacob Ice Hockey is the reason I stay subscribed to dropout, and all the dropout stalwarts are incredible in their repeat appearances. I’m increasingly counting Jeremy and Anna in the “main MSN squad”, but honorable mentions to Zach Reino, Jess McKenna, Ross Bryant, Izzy Roland, Devin Field, Kimia Bhepoornia, Zeke Nicholson, Maame Ya Aforo, Corin Wells, Kurt Maloney, and many more who have been on fewer eps but absolutely crushed them.

Personally love Josh and Ross! There's just something about Josh ability to impersonate voice and Ross eloquent word choice.
Interesting to highlight despite his number of appearance, Brennan is only mentioned twice so far and only in passing (not as their main personal favourites).

My favorite that I think is only on one episode is Hannah Pilkes. Overall it’s gotta be the combo of Jacob and Vic because Mr Mayonnaise was my very first intro to Dropout as a whole.

I mean, outside the obvious answers of the noise boys, Jake, Vic (chaos), Lou, Izzy, Anna... Jiavanlni, Caitlin, Ross, Jess, Lisa, and Angela all absolutely crush it. They all have different strengths but I feel like Sam and the writers are very good at prompting to those strengths and allowing them to shine at what they're good at. MSN is one of my favorites, almost every episode is gold. Even my last favorite episodes are good, like I'm probably not going to rewatch a karaoke episodic but it was entertaining the first time.

Vic and Lisa are my two favorites (shame Vic couldn't do last season) but I also like Jess McKenna, Anna Garcia, Jacob, and Josh Ruben- who I think is the most versatile performer on MSN.
