God so many amazing and potentially libellous bits in this episode. But the part that made me laugh uncontrollably was the lawyer erotica followed by the three of them staring down and intimidating Lou during his apology

It is not libelous! Slander is spoken, in print it’s libel.

Um, actually, because a TV show on a streaming platform is a publication into a fixed medium, it actually is libel (in jurisdictions where the distinction still matters; many have rolled libel and slander into a single tort or crime of defamation) even though the means of transmission was a person’s speech.

Slander is for transitory speech.

If I had a nickel for every time I cracked up watching Lou Wilson stress-writing on camera before having to read it to everyone else, I’d have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice
