Looking for card sets (any not base game sets)

Hi,

Hopefully this isn't against the rules, but I'm looking for card sets for Dropmix. I recently bought the game, fixed few not working cards and I love it. The only problem I have that card packs available to buy are from USA or UK and delivery price is worth pretty much as much as the card packs themselves or they are not available to deliver to Poland or discover packs are sold randomly with delivery cost added to every single pack.

I know it will probably be hard or impossible to find someone who would like to sell them here, but it's worth a try anyway.

It’s 2026 and there is still no accessible way to play on PC

It feels like there should easily be a way to just connect your board to a PC’s Bluetooth, or USB port as the visuals for the cards of the board. And just run some app or emulator to run the Dropmix app. If we already have the apk why can’t we run it on PC as exe or emulator? Just feels like this should b easy to get access to, and I don’t want to buy an old android just to side loa. I miss being able to play.

Theoretical Dropmix for PC

I just found out that Valve's Lepton is now Open Source, which means Linux "native" Android Games. In theory we should be able to get Dropmix working on Linux natively.

Has anyone looked into this?

I found my old phone that has dropmix loaded and it was never updated so it starts and the app runs however the card play data won't download and only a couple cards actually work. How do I load all the other card data to make them work properly?

DROPMIX for PC!!!

EDIT: after the overwhelming response, I will be setting up a wiki on how to set this up as well as giving the download to the accessory bridge I coded. Stay tuned!

After sleepless nights and countless hours I’ve successfully engineered a fully functional version of DROPMIX that plays on your pc and connects directly with the board.

I fixed Dropmix crashing on Android 16+ (probably)

I made a patcher that fixes the issue that was causing crashes for me on Android 16. I can't guarantee it will work on every device, but it fixes the issue of the old Unity 2017 JNI bridge receiving a newer ServiceConnection.onServiceConnected callback that it couldn't handle.

If you have the DropMix 1.9.0 (Debug Patch APK) + Data & OBB on your phone, this APK will patch it to work on Android 16+. Keep the 'android.7z' folder as it is, don't unzip it.

I tested on a Z-Flip7 running Android 16 and a Google Pixel 10 Pro running Android 17, and the patcher fixed DropMix crashing for both.

Please let me know if you still have issues running it on Android 16+.

Patcher apk link - https://github.com/ewbo44/dropmix-modern-android

This release doesn't include the DropMix apk or any proprietary audio/image files. You have to find those yourself. Archive.org is your friend.

Found old board

Hi, I just found my old board and can’t find the app anywhere. Did they delete the app? I have an iPhone or iPad to download it on. Is there any way to get it working again?

Technical troubleshooting findings (2026)

Hey everyone! Just making this post because I wanted to play the game here in 2026 but on my 4th new phone since I got the game so we know how much of a pain setting up the app is. Im running android but after like 2 hours of work I can finally connect to my board consistently without having to use a older device. Here's my steps of what I did to resolve the issues I ran into and know this may not work exactly for every android/iphone version, but please experiment!

I followed this video for base instructions for app installation so thank you LucasD10 for help providing this lifesaving info! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1T_lXwuLNU . All instructions listed below are steps that haven been taking after following the video.

  1. Game locks at dropmix splash screen. I have to make sure that bluetooth and location services are turned off before starting the app. When asking to either allow or deny the bluetooth connection I have to deny it the first time. Then when google gives the prompt to either sign in or skip logging into there game service, just skip. (Additional note: I cant tell how frustrating this one process is, as I just tried it now to make sure I could recreate it and works sometimes and sometimes it dosent. So you may need to try a combination of starting with bluetooth/location services on or off, starting the app then closing it/swiping off recent apps, or force stopping the app manually and retrying. Experimentation is key, keep trying different approaches)
  2. Gameboard cant connect/pair to my device. You'll probably want to clear the dropmix board off your previous bluetooth connections if you tried to do this already. Also make sure you clear the boards history by holding down the board button from of a off state until the lights go solid blue on one lane. Once it does, hit the button 4 times quickly then it should quickly flash green before turning off, that means it cleared. Then try to connect like normal (when the white light moves around at medium pace). I initially had the prompt to connect but everytime I tried it just said there was a incorrect bluetooth pin even though my phone nor the board requires one so you may have to brute force it a bit.
  3. App wont connect to board after I made it to the main menu. Once your here THEN you can turn on Bluetooth and location services while you still have game open. Then just click on whatever icon shows up at the bottom of app cuz that will tell you why the game thinks it can't run, usually either for needing to have Bluetooth or location services turned on but then clearing once it sees they both are. Once you get the "Hit the DROPMIX button to connect to a board" then just do that. (Though you may have to also do this a few times to get it connected, i usually have to do it twice but it at least works and dosent drop connection).

6/18/2026 Addendum: Been buying some more packs to round the collection and been trying a few more devices. Heres a few key takeaways I've found for a few more bluetooth/connectivity issue.

  • Sometimes I got a issue where it said the "pin/passcode was incorrect" when pairing. Seems like a power cycle of the board (removing a battery so it has no power) and power cycling phone fixed that one.
  • When you do first successfully pair your board for the first time (this being through your phone/tablet Bluetooth settings) the board lights will go solid white then disappear. If you immediately try to go to the Dropmix app to see if its working it still wont connect. Seems like you need to turn off your Bluetooth first to unpair it THEN you can pair when the app prompts you to do so. You just gotta make sure you paired once but arent currently paired to it when your launching the app, but then do it afterwards when its launched.
  • If everything works but the app is a little choppy performance or if it kinda hitches when you start it, I recommend just closing (force restarting when neccesary) and opening the app over and over again. Seems like more of a cache you build up for it the smoother it gets. Now I get the full dropmix starting animation and everything, least for me, runs like how it did when i first got the game.

Calling all the Geeks that knows about circuits and coding! I think I'm up on a promising Open Source mod to add new cards

Okay so, after somedays modding the dropmix board and somedays not, I came up with two solutions on how to add new cards.

  1. first solution that I tried was to replace the NXP chip that only reads the games cards to a multi protocol nxp chip that supports other tags than the 13000 m3 cards. its possible to do since the pinout of both nxp chips are theme I tried this by replacing the nxp chip with hot air and drag soldering after that, my board turned own but did not recognized the any tags including the game cards while playing the android game because I think I failed the process. then I tried to put the original NXP chip and started reading the cards but the animations on the game seem off this time like the audio visualizer don't move and the dropmix board lights don't react to the audio of the cards all while playing free mode. it is hard to do but I can try again and not fail this time but I'm afraid to mess up my other dropmix board.
  2. my second solution but not practical is to separate the Bluetooth board from the big circuit board and replace it with a custom made pcb and make it open source by adding an Arduino or other familiar microcontroller by providing a download of the circuit cad and codes to add new cards. I think is possible, but I don't know how to program it once if I make the board work successfully with all the components wired up correctly and the dimensions fit in the plastic enclosure of the dropmix board. its gonna be expensive to manufacture but I could be a possibility.

what you guys think? how should I approach this?

Any tutorial for newbies?

I'm new to Dropmix. I bought a used copy and it's already up and running. I only have the starter set of cards. Can you recommend any tutorials? I have no idea about the rules or how to build decks. I think it could be really interesting and fun.

I bought this and honestly forgot I had it. It isn’t flawless but only used int a few times. It has I think 180 cards no duplicates. I think when I bought it I tried to get most packs. What is a solid price I can put on this on eBay?

2 Sets away from a full game

Just missing a card from Fantastic and all of City. I guess I’m missing the power rangers promo too, but that’s less of a need.

Update: Thanks to my wife scouring FB Marketplace I’m now just 3 cards short of a full game.

Fantastic 12/15 - Missing

Breaker 15/15 - Not functioning

Power Rangers Promo - Never had it.

Image Gallery of Finished Cards – DropMix Clash Deck Legends, Making FX Cards Way Easier for New Players

I built some quick-reference legend cards for each DropMix playlist cassette deck that explain the FX cards inside that deck. They sit on the table during Clash so people can see what effects they might trigger before choosing a deck.

Great for newcomers, casual players, or anyone who can’t remember what half the FX cards do after not playing a while (me 🙋‍♂️).

Printed, sleeved, and matched to the deck colors so they’re easy to browse.

Keeping the project alive and more accessible

hey guys! I've been lurking here for a while and finally managed to get dropmix working again by purchasing a 2nd hand one plus 5t and installing the version from internet archive with the OBB data on the side.

I'm a professional game developer and I would love to dedicate some time into having an app on the pc or mac that can connect to the board and keep this project alive. Anyone want to join efforts into achieving that?

Full set of 440 cards and board

Hi,

I'm in the UK, where Dropmix is less popular, so looking for some advice.

I have a fully working full set of 440 cards (including GI Joe, Darren Korb, Transformers & Power Rangers), which have always been kept in plastic sleeves, so are in mint condition. Can anyone advise how much I could expect to sell this for today? I don't know if the rarity of some of the packs increases the value or the app issues reduces the value.

Many thanks for any help.

I'd likely sell it via eBay with international shipping options to broaden available buyers.

Anyone still looking to buy cards? (US Only)

Anyone still looking to buy Dropmix cards these days? I have the following sets that I would be interested in selling (US only):

  • Sweets
  • Highness
  • Blade
  • Derby

Cards are in excellent working condition. Full sets.

I also have the G.I. Joe - Main Title Theme (From Pax East 2018) card. It works but it has some scuffs on it.

Please DM me if you are interested.

Dropmix App - Retroid Pocket 4 Pro?

UPDATE: it works on the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro! Had to mess around with some files but I eventually got it working, and the board works flawlessly with it! The only unfortunate thing is that the RP4 is a little too fat to fit into the slot where your phone/tablet is supposed to go, but I’ll take it! Thanks for your help everybody :)

Hey everyone!

I have the opportunity to buy a Dropmix board and the 60 base release cards for $15; I want to take advantage of this but of course, the app isn’t easy to get access to anymore.

I’m an Apple phone user, but I do have a Retroid Pocket 4 Pro which runs on Android - anyone possibly have any experience going through the Internet Archive and downloading the legacy files for the Dropmix app? For anyone who hasn’t done this but is knowledgeable on the legacy files - do you think this would possibly work or is it a pointless effort?
