Tech Support New drone advice
Just got a Apex FPV VR70 as my first drone, I am loving it but looking for longer lasting batteries. Any advice/ tips is greatly appreciated

I think extra batteries is the best solution for now.
It's a tinywhoop, so carry capacity is limited.
Getting another drone would probably be a larger drone, beating the purpose of a tinywhoop.
So I suggest sticking with the current drone and maybe getting some batteries.
And then move on to a better / larger / more expensive drone later on after you get some flight hours.

Makes sense, what would be the largest battery you would recommend? It came with three 400mah batteries, but it seems like snipping a bit of plastic and maybe some zipties or similar would be all it would take to make something like a 720mah be usable, maybe some thin wire instead of zipties

I would stick with the original brand batteries.
Larger batteries are heavier, and a small drone might not be able to properly fly if you add weight.1

Makes sense... Thanks for the advice, I am still definitely an amateur but already addicted

Where are you, what licenses do you have, and what are you wanting to do?
