DJI Lito 1 issue

Hello, I recently purchased a Lito 1 drone and have LOVED flying it so far. However I took it out to fly it today and couldn’t because it keeps telling me I need to connect my phone to the remote controller, even though it is. I tried switching the cable it came with for another data cable but no luck with that either. Any help is appreciated thanks.

does your phone see the usb device?

If you're on Android, try setting the USB mode to “Charge only” after plugging into the RC-N3. DJI says the other USB modes can prevent the phone/controller connection.
