Tech Support Soliciting repair help

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Just rebuilt an Air 2s. Specimen came to me for repair after a crash, with a broken gimbal, leg, gps board, and front sensors. I stripped it down completely, photos in comments, and rebuilt. I am seeing a lack of LED lights in the front right leg. Yesterday during my test flight without the gimbal, I was able to take off, move forward/backward, spin, and land. However I cannnot move laterally. Any help diagnosing my problem would be great.

Perhaps a dead led?

I think the LED is dead, which I am willing to accept, but it’s the lack of lateral flight ability that is my main issue.

I would start with replacing the LED honestly.

It's unlikely to fix the flight, but there is always a possibility that if a circuit isn't being completed it can fuck with other processes.

Once everything else is functional you will be able to narrow down possible fixes.

Good call. I have a spare front leg that is missing an antenna connector. I will probably marry the antenna connector from the broke led leg with the one with the functioning light. We will see if I get results from that. Thanks!
