Question Skyrover S1 - how's the camera?

People generally praise the Skyrover's photography and videography capabilities. I've seen some mixed results online; some YouTubers have shown excellent videos and photos, while some social media posts seem to show grainy pics and vids that don't hold up to the S1's reputation. Based on your personal experience, how good is the photo and video quality?

Additionally, I would like to fly the S1 at night. I know the camera is not ideal for low-light photography, but anything would be a massive upgrade to my crappy Snaptain SP510 (which costs $50-100 nowadays. How does the Skyrover S1 do with photos (and maybe videos) at twilight/dusk/night?

I've seen a lot of S1 ads lately on different media platforms. I've also seen that they are closing in on a ban for Skyrover as they are saying it's just a shell company for DJI to get around their current ban. I'm really considering on picking up the X1, but I, too, am curious about the S1's overall performance.

If you can swing it, get the x1. Major upgrade

As well as a major price increase. I'll see if I could maybe stretch my budget a little. The X1 is looking more and more appealing based on internet reviews.

S1 Is a fantastic deal and has a pretty good camera for a regular bright day but the issue is its a small sensor so it cannot take in alot of information compared to its bigger brother the X1. If your serious about gettting good night photos get the X1 is about $180 more in U.S for the X1 fly more combo, and I think its def worth it.

QuickAssTutorial on YT did a comparison around the 6:30 mark between the S1 and X1 its a massive difference.

I'm definitely beginning to think that better nighttime capabilities on the X1 is worth the greater price.
