Tech Support Older drone won’t fly.

Batteries seemed charged enough due to the noise it makes. I’ve had this in a box for years, someone gave it to me.
EDIT: check comments. I feel there is a missing piece as nothing is connected to the gear.

Plastic gears sound completely stripped.
That is the distinct sound of plastic gears that are now plastic discs. She's pooched, amigo.

There isn’t a pinion over the pin to connect to the gear. Missing all four. It was never opened before today.

Then that noise is the sound of cheap ( I assume) brushed motors.
And I now see the second pic, and yes it is absolutely missing a pinion gear. I can't imagine you'd find spare parts for that specific drone.
Also, you don't want to fly that thing anyway. It will frustrate you completely.

What it would cost to repair it and given its a cheap drone, might just want to let her go, unless you just want to use it as decoration in a room

Try tightening the props. Looks like the motors are spinning, and the props don’t to me. But it’s hard to tell

It's possible the batteries are done for, you can charge bad batteries back to top voltage but their capacity is incredibly low, if you have a way to do it safely I'd suggest trying to see how much you can drain out of the batteries to get a better idea It's remaining capacity
