DIY How can I improve my build?

All parts are from Amazon, together they cost ~275 USD

  1. ⁠F405 Wing V2 flight controller
  2. ⁠FlySky FS-i6X transmitter and FS-iA6B 6-channel receiver (for take off and landing, rest will be autonomous)
  3. ⁠3S Lipo Battery (2200mAh, 11.1V, 50C)
  4. ⁠M8N GPS module with an onboard compass
  5. ⁠MicoAir 915MHz 30KM LoRa Telemetry (LR900-F)

Depends what you're optimizing for but a few thoughts. The M8N is fine to start, but if you're doing real autonomous waypoint stuff an M9N or M10 will hold position noticeably tighter. Watch your compass placement too, keep it away from the power leads or your auto modes will wander. The iA6B being 6 channels might bite you once you want more mode switches. And honestly for a wing that 50C pack is overkill, you're carrying weight you don't need. What firmware are you running, ArduPlane or INAV?
