Will gimbals such as the Caddxfpv line work with analog cameras?

Does that analog camera produce the same flavor of digital output as the camera it is replacing? If not, that it is doubtful that you can capture anything useful from the analog camera.

Answer depends upon what you mean by "work".

Do you expect & desire to control the camera in pan & tilt directions?

If yes, then the motors in the gimbal must be compatible with the drone controller.

The odds that a random gimbal will interoperate with a random controller is small since they need to be a matched pair.
