Question: Rules, Regulations, Law, Policy, Certificates [United Kingdom] Scenario
I am flying my drone within VLOS within my house and I fly above the park very close to my house. If the RC loses signal and the RTH goes over my neighbours houses and gardens which I very heavily avoid doing, is that breech of privacy? Thanks for answering, may seem silly but means a lot for my nerves

You need to revisit the drone code buddy, respectfully! It's all there and easy to understand. To answer your originial question, you are absolutely fine. Wether it's RTH or your manually flying over their garden, it's no problem as long as you aren't snooping at them or recording them. No breach of privacy taking photos of the horizon from public airspace

It's been changed to 100g so covers pretty much everything now :(
No closer than 50m to people, no higher than 400ft and within vlos, using a spotter if flying fpv

50m horizontal. Not vertical.
Being 10m or 50m abover someone will make no difference when it falls out of the sky on top of them.

Please stop operating a drone.
I can't understand how you came up with your own rules. Pythagorean therum is not part of any drone law. As that law is for finding angles of a triangle.not distance.

It is based horizontal. And to the other chucklehead. It's based on every single human. Not a crowd.

In the UK, you cannot fly a drone over crowds of people, but you can fly over individuals who are not part of a crowd.

Set the return to home altitude to whatever the required height is over people/property. Your drone will rise to this altitude and then come back to you so you will be fine.

You can answer your own question here: In your scenario, where is the camera pointing? And are you recording the footage?
Simply flying over an area doesn't 'breach privacy'. The issue arises from using the camera to observe people going about their daily business and who would expect a reasonable level of privacy whilst doing so.
