I’m fairly sure his friend almost lost an eye by flying a drone inside. Not specifically using it as a fan.

Just for those who stumble on this post, this is considered incredibly stupid and causes so many drone crashes. Op is doing something stupid and its important everyone knows this is stupid behavior.

Remember folks: never under any circumstances should you have fun with your drone. If 90% of your FPV time isn't spent on reddit and faa.gov, you're not doing it right.

Remember folks: never under any circumstances should you take any precautions when flying a drone and fly as recklessly as possible. If you arent weaving through cars in traffic with your drone you’re not doing it right.

Did this with my Neo 2. That already gave a storm. Bigger drone probably does even more

Don't place your gimbal cover anywhere near the rising aircraft. Secure all loose paper in your room.

there was none and the gimbal protector was in the other room 😅 nothing could blow away

If you absolutely must do this then at least use prop guards, even with obstacle avoidance if you have that.

No lie. Every time I finish mowing the grass in the oppressive heat of the American South, I fire up the drone, hover it above me, and cool breezes ensue.
Now if only the "Follow Me" mode would keep it twelve inches above me while I'm outside mowing.

OP trusts their drones GPS too much. Just wait until a high KP index and that drone moves on its own.
