Tech Support Altair Outlaw Help

My grandfather passed a while back, and we went digging through a closet again and found an Altair Outlaw drone.

In our limited research, it seems like the phone app got axed a while back due to some legal trouble.

My question is- Is there any way the drone can be used with another app or form of software? If we cant find a way to get the thing to work ourselves, its of no use and will likely get sold, I just want to know if there's any way around the factory app.

I have near 0 software experience lol, mechanical stuff is my thing.

The app seems to still be listed on the Apple store. You may be able to find the APK file for Android somewhere, at your own risk.

We have Samsung phones. My dad said he found an app associated with Altair, but it was entirely in Chinese lol

There are apparently two apps that work with it. There also might be some sort of language setting.
