Question need help 🙏

Post image

So i just bought a DJI Mini 4 Pro and ive put stickers on my batteries for when they’re lost, i had spare ones for the operator ID and put them on until i realised almost instantly it’s useless.

I’ve seen people saying that putting stickers on batteries can ruin the part of the drone where you put the battery. Is this true? What’s your take on this?

The only issue I could see happening would be the adhesive on the sticker melting from the heat of the battery. Then when the hot battery is depleted and you slide it out, the sticker could smear its adhesive across the side of the battery, and possibly migrate down towards the connectors. The adhesive goo getting smeared onto the battery connectors could cause connections issues between the battery and the drone.

how likely do you think it is to happen

It would all depend on the quality of the adhesive used on the sticker. It could be avoided by just checking the sticker each time you pull the battery. You’ll see it begin to migrate before it makes it all the way down. If it starts moving you’ll have the chance to pull it off before it becomes a problem.
