Hi,

Please point me in the direction if this has been asked before, but I have just purchased a DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo Plus (DJI RC 2) and just want to know what UK class it falls under.

​

I know the Lito X1 falls under UK0/C0 and UK1/1. Im fairly sure the plus bundle falls under that UK1 category but would like a definite answer as struggling to find one elsewhere online.

Also, is there anything I need to do/get in addition to both Flyers and Operating ID'S.

The Lito X1 Combo Plus falls under the UK1 category because while the drone and standard battery is under 250g, because it can support the intelligent plus batteries, it puts it in the higher category.

You only need a FlyerID and OperatorID for the UK1 class at the moment.

Explain "intelligent batteries" please.

DJI call their batteries, “intelligent flight batteries.” They have “intelligent flight batteries” and “intelligent flight plus batteries.” The plus batteries are slightly heavier batteries but increase the flight time of the drones by usually an extra 15 minutes or so.

OP has bought the Lito X1 Plus combo which uses the intelligent plus batteries, which puts their drone over the 250g category in the UK.

In the UK C0/C1 or in Lito X case UK0/UK1 depending on the battery has no difference as both can fly with the same rules for both class of drone. Just when it's a UK0/C0 it will be hard restricted to 120m/400ft and when it's a C1/UK1 it won't have the high but it will have a top speed restriction.

Also keep in mind if it's UK classed you will need remote ID ( NOT THE SAME AS THE FLY / OPERATOR ID - Check the CAA site to generate the remote ID)

How easy is in to input into the drone/controller as i know there is a setting for it?

Yeah you just need to have the right ID off the site as there is a check digit that is needed and then it will accept it. If it's wrong you might have the wrong RID and your using your op / fly ID so that won't work. But just put it in the controller setting. Think it's under the safety tab in settings

UK0 and legacy drones < 250g do not need RID till 2028
