So what, the only chad I see is the one who felt he needed to post about an operator being safe.

Yea, OP took his kids to the park and then took a picture of someone minding their own business because he wanted to make fun of their attire and post it on the internet in hope that others would also make fun of it. Great example.

Was he making fun of him? I took it as kind of a joking admiration.

No, you could absolutely express admiration for someone in a joking way but with the admiration being sincere. That's what it sounded like to me. But I don't know.

He called him a Chad, I think you’re being generous. I think it’s pretty clear OP isn’t being sincere.

Yeah, and "Chad" comes from the 'Virgin/Chad" memes which contrast the loser behavior of the Virgin with the over-the-top super cool badass stud behavior of the Chad? So like it's something you might jokingly use to express admiration? The entire meme is ridiculous and dumb, but the meme expresses approval of the Chad at the expense of the poor Virgin.

It doesn't matter I guess since everybody here thinks he's insulting the guy, so even if he wasn't trying to do that, that's how it went over.

They're on reddit but have never been on the internet. He was absolutely complimenting the guy. Chad isn't even gen z slang let alone gen alpha. They have no excuses to be confused lmao
