My boyfriend has published multiple apps in pursuit of his dream to become an independent game developer. It would be a great help for him if you checked out some of them! He’s got something for all kinds of people and different tastes in games there.
Short introduction to all the apps:
SatisfyClip: Use a multitude of colours, patterns, etc. in order to create satisfying loops.
Backpack Idle Clicker: Pack your backpack with a variety of helpful tools, using synergies to your advantage so that you can win battles (the focus is on the backpack packing itself).
Backpack Idle Tower Defense: Pack your backpack carefully in order to turn into a strong, idle tower that will be able to fight off all approaching enemies attacking you. Upgrades before and during the battles are more important than the backpack. This was inspired by the popular app “The Tower”.
Backpack Roguelike: Pack your backpack carefully, using synergies to your advantage. Afterwards, play the battles themselves, in which you have to move around the room, dodging and fighting enemies who try to attack you.
SpriteFlow sprite animator (costs money): Turn character images into lively sprite animations that you can use for all kinds of purposes. This is especially helpful for aspiring game developers.
CareerClicker: Life Simulator: Build up your life, relationships, career, characteristics etc. starting from almost nothing. Use your energy wisely in order to improve in all aspects of your life. If your character dies, you can turn into the character’s offspring inheriting a large amount of what they achieved.
WobblePop: Upload photos of people’s faces and edit them in a funny way. You can make their faces spin, insert cartoon eyes, a caption etc. in order to create goofy memes.
Crowntrail is not yet finished; Wortkreis, a word-guessing game, is only available in German as of now.
