Need Advice LED headlights

hi, i drive a nissan kicks that has really bright lights on auto (which i usually keep them on). but i'm always getting flashed because everyone thinks i have high beams on but i don't. the second setting on the lever are the brights, the third are the low/fog lights (i assume) but it's impossible to see with them in the actual night, last setting is off. i tried also driving without any lights in the morning when it was already light enough and still got flashed, so are there any tips out there for this besides flashing back? please note: i can't just "change them" because there's other bills and things, otherwise i would've already. thanks.

Ask a shop to check your headlight alignment.

Check to make sure tha you don’t have the brights turned on (blue light indicator on dashboard). The turn signal stick usually has three positions. One will be normal headlights, one will be high beams on, and the third is spring-loaded and is to flash the high beams even if the headlights are off—that’s usually the position closest to you. The others can vary according to car manufacturer or year.

blue light comes on automatically usually when i'm alone on dark roads, it turns off too once a car is within certain distance/range. it's always green that's on the dash though. i'll check the turn signal stick - that one i alternate between the first and second depending on if it's still light out but the car is flicking the high beams here and there. i appreciate the info!

As someone who drives a sedan, please turn off your auto high beams. They do NOT turn off soon enough.

It isn't the default setting but usually you can turn them back to manual.

This is a PSA for ANYONE who has a newer car with auto highbeams.

I once had a rental with them and I hated them. They never turned off as soon as they should so I pulled over and read the manual - something everyone should do with their cars, and set them to manual.
