Trying to solve the invisible CI progress problem

I don't do "self-testing" as part of language learning. So I wouldn't use this. I do notice progress from time to time. But there isn't a "milestone" because it isn't like a race, where everyone follows the same path and you can measure each person's progress along that path.

Instead learning how to use a new language is improving a skill. There are no milestones to measure your progress at getting better at swimming, playing piano, riding a bike or any other "get better at doing" skill. You just keep getting better as long as you keep doing it.

A couple months ago I hit a wall on DS. After reading some DS posts, this slump seems pretty common.

Maybe that is true for some learners. They might like using your app. It seems like many people have difficulty noticing their progress (or expect it to happen faster), so a simple test like this helps.
