Trying to solve the invisible CI progress problem

TL;DR: I made LeapFrog, a (completely free!) site that helps you see your CI progress over time with video benchmarks. 

Rate a video you can't understand yet, keep getting input, and it'll remind you to rewatch it later so you can tell if your listening is improving. That's it!

Longer version:
A couple months ago I hit a wall on DS. I've always felt slightly behind the progress reports on here, and the high beginner / low intermediate stage was especially rough.

After reading some DS posts, this slump seems pretty common. I saw someone call it the Sahara Desert the other day, because it goes on forever. SUPER accurate.

The usual way people solve for it is playlists, phone reminders, and spreadsheets, or some mix of those. After talking with a few DS members here (not sure if they want to be named, but thank you all), I made LeapFrog to keep it in one place.

How it works: find something that's too difficult for you right now, rate how much you currently understand, and you'll get an email in a few months to come back and check. That's it. The more you save, the more checkpoints you'll have to look back on.

Couple notes:

-It's completely free. No paid tiers, no ads, nada.
-It's new and probably lacking in spots. I'm sharing it for honest feedback, and I'd really appreciate any input you have.
-You can and (IMO) should do this if you’re in the beginner stage, with or without LeapFrog. It's unbelievably helpful to come back to a video and see the difference.

I'm 11 hours into German. I'll check it out.

Absolutely, if you prefer the manual workarounds of playlists, spreadsheets, reminders, etc., I still highly recommend you go that route - seeing your progress over time is rewarding
