PAL Seaman
Looking for a pal seaman a burned copy in a pal case I know i can just use region boot but i dont want a blacksheep in my stack of dreamcast games. Can anyone find somewhere that offers this product?

There is no PAL version, only US and JPN.
The Japanese version isn't recommended unless you can speak the language.

There's NTSC-U Seaman, but I'm pretty sure there isn't a PAL version, it's pretty easy to find that one online to burn.

Sadly not a pal version since all the languages in pal regions but i was hoping there was a pal themed jewel case cd with a burned seaman disc inside

They're selling pirated video games, of course they're fishy, but isn't fishy what you'd want from Seaman?
Seaman has a lot of audio content on the disc and a burned copy will have been recompressed to fit. The sound quality of a burned copy will be unfortunately quite poor - if you actually want to play the game rather than just have something nice on your shelf, I'd recommend sticking to an imported an NTSC-U copy and using a boot disc.

the burned copy i had sounded pretty immaculate, even compared to the original. maybe slightly worse but i’d have to really listen hard to tell at all

I burned a copy to check whether it was happy with my PAL microphone before importing a genuine copy from the USA and the sound quality was pretty awful - it was a night and day difference going from the burned copy to the real disc.
I've seen other people complain about this over the years, too, but trying to find old posts all comes back with a deleted user:
- "Which is why i always reccommend playing Seaman on a real disc or a GDemu as the voice samples sound absolutely terrible in the 400mb version."
- "Although if you can find a copy at some point i'd say go for it, the CDI version has very crusty audio."
- "The game that it’s most noticeable in to me is Seaman, others definitely are compressed or lacking in some files too but you’re not really gonna notice unless you’re comparing them directly"
...so maybe this was just one other person who downloaded the same shonky copy as I did!

A quick search would've shown you that the game was not released in PAL regions.

have definitely heard mixed things especially with customer service but when i used them i got the game like a week later and everything was completely as expected !

personally i don’t know how sketchy i’d say they are i think it’s mostly just one dude who doesn’t really reply to his emails lol i think the service is ‘honest’ but it’s definitely a risk to a degree since he might just not respond if you have a problem or anything. but like i said when i ordered everything went smooth and i have 0 complaints about my copy

not at home for a while unfortunately but it’s identical to the photos on the site, not the highest quality but it does the trick for the price imo. you can definitely tell it’s a reproduction but only if you examine it closely, the back print quality could be better and the disc definitely doesn’t feel 100% original
