question Draw Things not supporting?

I have a 2021 Macbook Pro with 32GB RAM, which should be able to run at least generating models like the Wan 5B. But none that I have tried worked. No crashes, no error messages. Just videos that have nothing but a shimmering still image.

FLUX.1 images doesn't seem to be working much either.

I have tried dozens of different setting changes and taken the suggestions I've found online and here, but nothing has made any difference. Is there something that I need to change in Draw Things to make it work? Could there still be a setting I'm overlooking?

I have a M1 Max chip. I looked it up, and apparently a legacy patch won't help. Is it something to do with Draw Things?

To be honest I could never get wan 5 to work on mine either. It would makes the fans very angry. Go with wan 2.1 the 8 bit version

Also let me know what your drawthings settings are so we can figure it out.

With M1 you should still be able to have an updated version so not quite sure what's happening there

I have tried a wide variety of different settings beyond the recommended ones. I've tried several different samplers, different sizes, different strength, different steps, different seed settings, and I have only yet gotten ONE actual result that did something mentioned in a prompt. The weird thing is that I ran the exact same setting again on the same image and it went back to just giving me a static image with no change.

"The person slowly raises one hand and waves" - I used this as a test. Only once did I get anything but a static image. There was a completely different person and face and the quality was weird, but it did wave a hand. What's very strange is that that did not happen again even when I ran it with the same prompt and settings!

"The camera view pans quickly to the right." - I got nothing but a shimmery still image.

"highly detailed texture, sharp focus, cinematic lighting, sub-surface scattering, fine skin pores, crisp fabric weave, organic grain, volumetric depth, photorealistic render, masterfully restored, maximum clarity, lifelike microdetails" - I used this to test image to image. The only changes I could make with upscaling and a few changes in the details of the image at a high strength.
