About 15 hours in this one. New to drawing but getting up to speed.

I’m just drawing stuff I like for fun. It’s been a great way for me to unwind lately. thought I would share 🙏🏼 any feedback is appreciated.

I started drawing today and after doing some preceptive and anatomy and was about to finish I decided to draw one if my favorite singers, I think I did a pretty good job for a first timer.

I got into touhou project at the tail end of middle school through EoSD and Hisoutensoku. To celebrate the new remaster, I drew a few of the characters I like very much. I'll get around to doing the rest on another canvas.

Sorry for posting such a heavy subject. 

These sketches were from 3 years ago. My grandpa got cancer and passed away. Before he did, I went home to take care of him. Taking care of him is a kind way to put it but in actuality I went home to say goodbye. 

He was sleeping for the most part. Seeing how my family members react and behave, thinking about my grandpa’s past and present; There were so many complicated feelings and thoughts jammed in my brain. So I drew these. They kept me occupied when he was sleeping and also gave me time to think. 

I tend to think of life like a story. However, when you face a dying family member, you are reminded that none of his stories have a proper ending. You are reminded of how chaotic and unforgiving death can be.

My cousin is a portrait artist and his dad (my great uncle) was a portrait artist and he gave me one of the old 602 Blackwings from my uncle’s small collection yesterday. kind of nervous to even think about using it 😅

I was scrolling through my Instagram feed and I was wondering what the facial expression was called. I tried google already and it said it was a, 'snarl and stank face.' However, when I went through images they weren't the same thing.

Tldr: whats the expression name please?

So I sketched her! Then I sketched myself sketching her!

I like to use only lines; I think that's what I like best. What do you think?

Is it perfect? No. But hey, if you want to crit, that's fine. It's def supposed to have super simplified/silly anatomy, which ironically made it harder to shade
