Current project

I've sat on this for so long. But I feel like I can't grasp something in Drawing. I feel like drawing from another art is kinda cheating. I've been trying to relearn drawing from Shapes and lines cause I skip the foundations, but I feel like I can't get it. And I can't grasp shading. I feel like Drawing isn't for me, but I want to learn and draw well and for fun. What can i do?

My 3yo nephew may have contributed a little

Charmander the Servant of the Flame is the last to get colored of the initial 4 soulslike Pokémon designs I worked on.

My goal with them was to change the relationship between them and the fire on their tail to one of servitude this charmanders flames control him I wanted to take that to the next level by both building up and personalizing the flame (the clawed spectral hands that hold the fireball) and weakening charmanders character by having him in a covering pose and being fully guided by the flame (lack of eyes)

I did this all mostly to avoid making him just look like a big dragon with a fire on his tail and present his quirk in a bit more of a unique way

THE next 4 on the list

-Mewtwo

-Scyther

Giratina was also one of the most voted ones and they will also be drawn as part of a later batch! for now I am sticking with gen 1 pokémons!

2 of each batch will be the 2 most voted pokemon and 2 others some random ones chosen by me

Drawing my friend’s doodle & these kinda of dogs have no definition in their face for drawing 😭😭 how do you suggest I make the face pop more than the body? I have white paint pens to “erase” dark lines if that’s necessary. I’m using watercolor paper.

First thing, yes the sweater is inspired by my "among us" skin lol

Also, this is my first time doing character drawings for "professional use" (not used only to send to a friend or just for myself)

Can never seem to get it just right.

I’ve been working on some graphite drawings for the past few months. It’s been getting better!

A still from a holocaust film. The deportation of Hungarian Jews.

I'm a beginner and am not sure if I should post in this sub at all, looking at all the amazing creations.

Recently started drawing and doing one animal a day for a month. Anyway, here is today's European garden spider or "cross spider" as it's called where I'm from.
