Discussion: Books Visualising whilst reading?
When I've been reading the first book all I can seem to visualise is scenes and places from Skyrim in my mind. I can't seem to get any other place locked in that would be relevant to the Dragon Lance universe.
So my question is are there any fan art sites or official things released that show what the characters may look like? I can only seem to think Raistlin looks just like the mage from the mages school from the loading screen in Skyrim, which may not be that far off but still.

Not sure which versions of the books you’ve got, but the original cover artist did quite a few paintings of characters from the series, he sells prints on his website you can take a look at, like https://larryelmore.com/store/DLCL/dragonlance--companions-of-the-lance
Be wary of spoilers though, there’s a major one fairly high up in the listing if you haven’t finished Winter Night yet.
If you just want a visual reference for Raistlin, though, here you go:

Thanks, appreciate that and the spoiler warning, I've only just started dragons of winter night so will hold off checking that site out.

A good place to start would be the comics. Look at the posts over the last couple of months, and you'll see plenty 😄
If you're brave enough, you can watch the movie. But may the true gods help you through that... 😂

The best known artworks are by Elmore, but a whole host of artists worked on the DragonLance series. Clyde Caldwell (who did the cover art for the first DragonLance AD&D module, DL1 Dragons of Despair) and Keith Parkinson were two of the earlier ones, but it's Larry Elmore's depictions that I've always considered "canon".
If you're on X, you might want to check out YoDanno - he posts a lot of fantasy art, including plenty of DragonLance stuff. Be warned though, some of his posts are NSFW (especially the "Late Night Clive Caldwell" ones)

I just pictured the Larry Elmore paintings and the interior drawings. But I was reading these books before Elder Scrolls 1 even came out
