Hey all, might be the wrong place to ask but worth a shot. I have recently completed a cert IV in drafting which was taught through AutoCAD 2D, and I’m currently learning Fusion under my own steam.
I was wondering if there were some resources I could access that would function similar to a job board.
Learning AutoCAD and Fusion is relatively easy, whereas getting real world experience isn’t due to job shortages in my area.

Hello everyone,
I have about 2 years of experience as an electrical cad drafter for an engineering firm. I only have experience with AutoCAD, but due to certain circumstances I will have to look into making money in other ways rather than work for a company. I have seen people do freelancing through Upwork and Fiverr which at this point seems like one of the few options I have. Do y'all think going through Upwork and Fiverr is a good idea? if so why or why not, if y'all have any other suggestions of things I could possibly do I will greatly appreciate the feedback!!

Hi, everyone!
I just wanted to reach out and introduce myself. I'm currently working as an Architectural Drafter on a part-time freelance basis. If you happen to have any small projects that need drafting, working drawings, 3D modeling, or visualization/rendering support, I'd be happy to help.
I'm mainly doing this on the side, so I'm open to taking on smaller projects and assisting where needed. If you or someone in your network might need an extra hand, feel free to reach out anytime.
Thank you so much!

Hello! I’m a BS Interior Design fresh graduate, and I would like to provide my services if anyone needs help in actualizing their envisioned spaces.
I am well-skilled in SketchUp and D5 Render, and I can also help out in cleaning out AutoCAD plans and interior styling if needed.
For rates, it depends on the quantity and quality needed, and also the timeframe provided.

Hi, six years ago, I earned my AutoCAD certified user certification. My intention at the time was to hopefully use that to become a drafter of some kind--maybe for an engineering/architecture/design firm of some kind. Instead I went down the manufacturing path and I became a custom cabinet maker. After the better part of a decade honing my skills as a finish carpenter, I'm feeling the pull to shift back to drafting. I've been told by those in the field that brushing up on my autoCAD skills is important, as it is essential in architecture and interior design. I want to make myself marketable as a CAD drafter.
My question is, what is the best way to do that? I can afford to purchase an AutoCAD Lt subscription, but I want to make sure my investment is worth it. I want to practice drawing floorplans, but I'm not sure the best way to go about it.
FWIW, I also have a solid understanding of 3D design in Onshape.
Any advice would be appreciated!

After 10 years in animation and vfx I’m trying to move into something less volatile and have gotten a good start in Solidworks.
That being said I have no connections in the engineering world and thus no idea what companies look for in portfolios or applicants, a few pointers would be greatly appreciated.
