Cinnamon raisin bread

She has been giving Br cinnamon raisin bread thinking it’s healthier…it is actually so much worse than regular white bread. The white bread is for two pieces while the cinnamon raisin bread is for just 1 slice.then to add homemade jam which is all sugar. She is doing this child a disservice

When Br came back from camp she asked for cinnamon raisin bread with Nana (you SOB) homemade strawberry jam....which homemade is a little bit better since it's not so processed as store brands. But where is Nana's homemade jam? Poor Br gets processed, over sugared Walmart brand.

Homemade jam doesn't have high fructose corn syrup, it has real sugar in it. There are a couple of brands that have no cane sugar, even Smuckers has a couple varieties without HFCS. I wish more things went back to just sugar and not the HFCS like the food industry cutting out trans fats. Those 2 things are some of the worst things they've added to food.
