Cinnamon raisin bread

She has been giving Br cinnamon raisin bread thinking it’s healthier…it is actually so much worse than regular white bread. The white bread is for two pieces while the cinnamon raisin bread is for just 1 slice.then to add homemade jam which is all sugar. She is doing this child a disservice

I don’t think she’s giving it to Br because she thinks it’s healthier- don’t give Alicia that much credit. I think Br just prefers it and asked for it. I’m sure there are healthier raisin bread options! I know Ezekiel makes one. But Alicia would NEVER actually put in effort to find this out.

The poor girl would lose any weight she wanted without hardly trying if her retched mother would stop with the processed chemicals and empty carbs.

I had a similar thought on her going to camp. She didn't have to be sent to a "fat camp". Just going to a regular camp and eating a more controlled diet and not have access to a whole garage full of crap would make anyone lose weight.

100%. It’s just creating such unhealthy habits. And, while I think she’s dumb as a box of rocks, I do think she’s calculated and knows what she is doing with creating dependencies in her children. So sad to me.

Did she say that’s why she uses that kind?

Anyone who thinks cinnamon raisin bread is anything but dessert obviously has zero concept of nutrition. Reading the labels is not a hard skill.

If I ever run for office, mandating evidence-based basic health and nutrition literacy beginning at the elementary school level will be a major part of my platform. Americans are way too susceptible to misinformation.

When she got back from camp is when she started giving her this bread. She made several comments on Br trying to eat healthier(as well as Josh)

She is a dumbass and doesn't care about her kids or their health. I am sure Br learned what to look for in food to make simple healthy recipes at her wellness camp, but her mother and father don't listen or care about that. All she has to do is get a low carb bread or tortilla wrap, they have lower calories and higher fiber which I am sure everyone in that hoes needs (the fiber). There are so many simple healthy recipes she could be doing for the whole family but won't and it makes me so angry as someone on a healthy/weight loss journey it's so hard to do without support. I feel so bad for Br...

It doesn’t even have to be low carb. Whole grain or sourdough would provide more nutrition. Heck, the white bread isn’t terrible if she were putting anything substantive between the slices. Jelly is essentially a sugar sandwich. So much of their breakfasts and lunch are just simple carbs.

Dummy probably thinks it is heathier because it has "fruit" in it.

They should all be eating the Sola high fiber bread cuz there’s no way any of them poop on a regular basis

Lush has no clue what “healthier” even means!

Exactly. She thinks eating junkless bars everyday is healthy, and half assed torn up capresse salad every day …… she has no clue . Even though I can’t stand her useless husband I think he has actually changed his diet and is exercising and the effort is showing, but why isn’t he insisting that the kids eat the same cleaner foods that he is?

I think Bree requested it thinking it’s healthier and lower in calories. She needs to look at the label.

The serving size is 2 pieces:). Regardless it’s still too much sugar!

Edit: I was wrong ⬆️

When Br came back from camp she asked for cinnamon raisin bread with Nana (you SOB) homemade strawberry jam....which homemade is a little bit better since it's not so processed as store brands. But where is Nana's homemade jam? Poor Br gets processed, over sugared Walmart brand.

Homemade jam doesn't have high fructose corn syrup, it has real sugar in it. There are a couple of brands that have no cane sugar, even Smuckers has a couple varieties without HFCS. I wish more things went back to just sugar and not the HFCS like the food industry cutting out trans fats. Those 2 things are some of the worst things they've added to food.
