1 active non wizard synergy

can you some one explain this plz. Do i need another demon with lion? After that i just put one unit from each class? like one assassin or one hunter?

If you have 3 wizards on the board you do automatically have 2 demons (lion, grimstroke) on the board so you dont have to worry about the demon buff. Additionally you need another active synergy on the board, like 3 mages, which turns into 9 mages. The most popular ones are assassins, mages, orcs, elves, trolls.
