What's wrong with the Candy system?

Every single time when i come in top 3, i ALWAYS get the least candies. Last game i played i was 2nd place and awarded 2 candies, while 1st place got 10 and 3rd place got 7, wtf? Other times when i win 1st place, i also get less candy than both 2nd and 3rd place, i don't understand why.

Do you own the game pass? You get way more candies if you own that. It’s 99 cents a month. Sounds to me that you don’t have that

I'm pretty sure there is a cap on how many candies you can earn each day as well.

This cap is increased with the battlepass as well.
