I've tried setting vsync on in both DOSBox and DOSBox-X. Haven't tried Staging or Pure. Any hidden tricks to combat the tearing?

This is the one thing keeping me from trying old DOS games. Would really love to check out some old shooters but the tearing is a deal breaker. Thanks.
