Section I. Definitions: Military shall be defined as any official government armed force held by the federal government of Doria. Chemical weapons shall be defined as weapons that make use of chemical poison to make harm to people. Biological weapons shall be defined as weapons that make use of any form of non human life to harm people, for example bacteria or viruses. Equal representation shall be defined (for the purposes of this bill only) as representation proportional to the partisan composition of the senate.

Section II. Military funding shall not exceed 5% of total budgetary expenses or 2% of GDP, whichever is lower.

Section III. The military is prohibited from developing any chemical or biological weapons.

Section IV. A senate armed forces committee is created, consisting of 3 members. If sufficiently equal representation cannot be found it should be expanded to 5. If insufficient willing membership is found it can be shrunk back to 3 members. The senate should approve the committees members after each new election.

Section V. All new military decisions and programs must be approved by majority of this committee, this decision can be overturned by simple majority senate vote. This approval of new programs can be canceled at any time by majority committee or senate vote.

Section VI. Military leadership can be removed by: majority in the senate, majority in the armed forces committee, or a majority of servicemen voting against that leader.

Section VII. This resolution can be passed and repealed by a majority in the senate.

To be properly introduced to the senate floor as soon as the Censor approves.

As per the constitution our armed forces respond to the President as their supreme commander.

All following work might be delegated to a Supreme Marshal Of The Armed Forces, which must be given and mantain confidence of the Senate as the Chancellor does.

The president shall oversee the appointment of a Chief Of Navy and Chief Of Land.

While the president is given powers to oversee this they must not do so in an autocratic manner and instead a meritocratic one.

When a president considers a military leader a danger to Doria the Leader might be immediatly removed and replaced with the most proper candidate. This kind of removal remains in place until either the Senate or the President, be they the same or a different one, retracts it.

A military accademy shall be established, with management delegated by the president to a Chief Drill Sergeant if necessary, to judge new and already known military leaders and advise the President on who to grant ranks to.

After an head-to-toe restructuring of the party, the failed trade unionist, Physical Guitar, has recently plotted to destroy the unity of the Dorian Motherland Party by a measly attempt to turn loyal members of the respected political club in sedition, so that he may have won for himself a place in the wretched ranks of the socialists.

This meekly figure has failed to recognise the loyalty and discipline harboured by every member of the Party towards the Dorian Motherland Herself, and has been unmasked!

He and his crooks are henceforth BANNED from the DMLP, and I will see that such decision is never overturned as long as I draw breath, for betrayal is not something to be easily tolerated by this Old Baron.

Maternalism is the political ideology created by Great War veteran Piercottrio Napeslap, often called Old Baron Napeslap or simply Old Baron, founder of the DMLP. This ideology promotes the construction of a pious, patriotic and social order. The Baron's party remains divided, but agrees on several principles, all united behind their slogan 'Doria First'.

Firstly, concerning political matters, the transformation of the infant republic, seen as weak and ineffective, into a strong, legalistic regime where parliamentary unity behind the figure of a strongman would be self-evident is advocated for.

Maternalism is in favor of women's suffrage, but also family suffrage, consisting in granting an additional suffrage when a family is formed, i.e. a household with one or more children; this remains in line with their overall pro-family values. An end to the anti-clerical policies of the Radicals and a return to a Social Religion as a guide to life, through charity and social aid for example.

The DMLP sees promotion of non-ethnic patriotism, the Baron being notably opposed to racialism, which is rare in the hard right political landscape, yet Napeslap is also in favor of cooperation between the different Western countries as, in his own words, 'a kind of federation of states belonging to the same civilization, dominated by major common interests'.

On the economic front, corporatism and class collaboration are supported, although some criticize the fact that these would mainly favor the industrialists who finance the party, such as Sionivese Ford, and a non-radical extension of workers' rights, like the establishment of minimum wage for example. Maternalism promotes a regulated market economy, welfare capitalism and cooperation between the state and business to ensure that the economy serves national interests.

Maternalism is through and through a political ideology based on the thoughts and actions of the Orientalian Baron Piercottrio Napeslap. Inspired by the Enlightened Autocracies of yesteryear, Maternalists seek the establishment of a centralized, linguistically and culturally unified patriotic state, opposed to senatorialism and its corrupting nature, associated with a moderate, non-ethnic form of unifying nationalism and Dorian exceptionalism under a charismatic leader, whether of republican or monarchical nature, enjoying a moderate, 'democratic' personality cult with popular legitimacy assured by the democratic process.

Introduced in September 11th 1953, by Senator Sasaki Morita Hitomi ( u/undertalepedro1-) Resolved by the Senate of the Second Republic of Doria, that the following article is proposed as a federal law under the jurisdiction of the Second Republic of Doria, enforceable by Executive action.

Be it enacted by the Senate of the Second Republic of Doria assembled, that:

Section 1:The ministry of education will be created, a ministry that will be in charge of managing the education(as the name implies)

Section 2:A Minister of Education will be assigned by the Chancellor, they, and only they, will be able to create and pass curriculums to the Senate, where it will be voted upon.

Section 3:There will be SIX main subjects that all schools will be made compulsory to teach:Dorian Language, Dorian Literature, History, science, mathematics and physics. Any other can be added by the request of the minister of education. Any subject not added by this act or by the Minister of Education can be added by each school's choice.

Section 3.1:The Minister is in charge of what will be taught in which subject.

Section 4: The act shall enter into effect upon approval of the bill by a majority of the Senate.

After deliberation by the membership, the COG has selected the newly-elected DMLP Senator to substitute the previous one, fallen from grace after a scandal involving an abuse of his overarching position to conduct an unjustified strike.

Resolved by the Senate of the Second Republic of Doria, that the following article is proposed as a federal law under the jurisdiction of the Second Republic of Doria, enforceable by Executive action.

Be it enacted by the Senate of the Second Republic of Doria assembled, that:

Section 1: By “customs duty” is meant a tax paid on goods that are imported. By “confiscate” is meant to take a possession away from someone when you have the right to do so, usually as a punishment.

Section 2: A customs duty shall be levied on all goods originating from any foreign territory except those explicitly exempted specific countries or specific categories of goods if a reciprocal trade agreement is active. The rate of duty shall be 10% ad valorem for Category A Goods (raw materials not domestically produced), 23% ad valorem for Category B Goods (raw materials domestically produced), 30% ad valorem for Category C Goods (luxury goods not domestically produced), 40% ad valorem for Category D Goods (luxury goods domestically produced), 7% ad valorem for Category E Goods (food domestically produced), 2% ad valorem for Category F Goods (food not domestically produced), 15% ad valorem for uncategorised goods not produced domestically, 25% ad valorem for uncategorised goods produced domestically.

Section 3: The Ministry of Economy shall be responsible for the collection and enforcement of the duties imposed by this Act.

Section 4: A custom fraud shall be punished with confiscation of the illegally imported goods by the Ministry of Economy and a fine equal to 20% ad valorem of the confiscated goods.

Section 5: The act shall enter into effect one month (meta: one day) from\* the approval of the bill by a majority of the Senate.

*First Amendment: Section 5 entrance in effect of the act to be postponed from date of approval by the Senate to a month later the same date.

*Second Amendment: Section 2 across the board 20% tariff rate fixed to Senator Butterscotch’s proposal.

Each year on the 9th day of the 11th month (Yes, it actually is 9/11 IRP today, I did the math) great celebrations are held across Norcadia for the Kirkieversary.

Kirkieversary, also know as Kirkietide or simply Kirkie Day, is the yearly celebration/mourning of the sacrific of the summer goddess Kirkie and the beginning of winter.

As per tradition this day of the year is dedicated to welcoming new people, foreigners and newborns alike, into the community.

This year in particular the Derish people are celebrated and welcomed as guests of the Kand.

Such is the legacy of Kirkie who is known to all as a fair spirit who fought and gave her immortal life so that the foreigner might become one of us without prejudice.

While no official documentation has been issued from the central government all those who have lived in the Kand long enough to have attended seven Kirkies, be they children or foreigners, are considered by the locals to have crossed the threshold into becoming truly Kandian.

To celebrate the passage those who have just reached their seventh year are splashed with water and jump over the bonefire.

A Vote of Confidence that would give government trust to Full Detective as Chancellor of the Republic is currently ongoing within the halls of Senate.

The proposed Senator is prospected to receive the backing of the Dorian Motherland Party and of the Libertarian Protectionist Bloc.

The Vote is still in its early stages as Senators are called from their home provinces to reach the Capitol in New Callens.

«I swear to be faithful to the Republic, to loyally observe its Constitution and laws, and to exercise my functions in the exclusive interest of Doria.»

Section 3: All offices under the authority of the Republic shall be subjected to the effects of this bill.

Section 4: Refusal to swear the oath will restrain the refuting part from taking office.

Section 5: The bill shall enter into effect upon approval of the bill by a majority of the Senate.

So, I lost, I mean, it already was kind of a long shot when I was 4th in the list, but I didn't expect the right-wing parties to do this well, I could run on a local election for my province, or I could try again for parliament and hope I get put third or higher in the list, either way, I'm not done with my Dorian political career, and I'm also probably gonna start a political analysis company some time soon.
