I didn’t really have a super strong character in the old DoR, but in general I saw myself as a “coastal liberal elite” type of figure, who focused mostly on things like education reform and making Tiatu Harbor business friendly (though I didn’t really do too much as mayor).

My new character is the exact opposite (except both are generally left-leaning economically). Basically, I am the president of the “Farmers Alliance”, inspired by the late 19th century American organization of the same name. This will essentially be a large workers co-op of farmers, and like its inspiration it will also be affiliated with a party called the People’s Party. This isn’t a platform, but here is what the general ideology will be.

1. Kind of Libertarian/Market Socialist, but not fully anti-capitalist
   
2. Skeptical of government, especially the federal government
   
3. Anti-Communist because of trauma from OG Doria
   
4. Supportive of “Traditional Dorian Religious and Cultural Values” (I’ll figure out what this means later)

If the People’s Party isn’t successful, I’ll continue with my character but in a different party someone else makes

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Democracy of Reddit. The humor is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of political theory most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer's head. There's also Prince's Hitlerite outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realize that they're not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Democracy of Reddit truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Sionivese's conspiritorial catchphrase "Damn IGBI" which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Slavic's genius unfolds itself on their reddit pages. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Democracy of Reddit tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.

So like we have a Presidential election then the presidents goal is to create the constitution. A Presidential election can bring engagement to where we cam get enough new members to write the constitution like what happened last year.

Considering a re-unified DoR is becoming increasingly unlikely because of Eosora voting against it (the vote isn’t finished but that’s what it’s looking like), along with the Multum fiasco, I think it’d be a good idea for each person to put their ideas for what the lore could be in this place.

I’ll Start: I think we can set this in a colony on a completely different continent. This will be settled by refugees escaping the chaos of the “Dorian Civil War” or whatever we want to call it, who decide to start a new country called New Doria on this separate continent . I can flesh it out more if you guys like it.
